As you walk around Llyn Idwal in a clockwise direction you will come to some large slabs on your left hand side. These are the Idwal slabs.

As you leave Idwal Cottage heading towards Llyn Idwal there is a choice of routes. You can go sraight on, or take a right between two crags. These photos were taken on these crags.

As well as several scrambles on Tryfan, there are also climbs of varying difficulty. Tryfan Bach, a small crag to the side of Tryfan provides an entertaining area for some easier climbs (a large number of diff and V.diffs).
